HBCU Now was founded with one mission: to be the most comprehensive, authentic, and culturally resonant media platform dedicated to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. We recognized a gap — a national stage where HBCU students, alumni, athletes, band members, faculty, and advocates could see themselves represented fully, not as footnotes, but as the main story.

From breaking news to campus spotlights, scholarship databases to live sports coverage, our editorial team is committed to the truth and the depth that HBCU culture deserves. Every story we publish honors the legacy of the 107 HBCUs across the United States and the millions of students who have walked their halls.
